Dr. Klaus Rensing

Following his studies in biology and medicine at Tübingen, Heidelberg and Amherst, USA as well as completing his thesis in tumour virology at the German Cancer Research Centre (DKFZ/ ATP) Dr. med. Klaus Rensing, MBA received his MD in medicine. During his clinical career he contributed to more than 40 clinical trials in all phases. Additionally, he completed an MBA at Berlin. During his career in national and international health care he worked in hospital management and more importantly in the pharmaceutical industry as well as at The Paul-Ehrlich-Institute (PEI) as a clinical assessor. Due to his tasks in ATMP-clinical trial advisory, PEI-EMA-FDA regulatory issues as well as in the scientific coordination with national research groups (DKTK), Dr. Rensing provides a profound strategic and operative knowledge in all aspects of all phases through the medicinal product life cycle.
