Summary
This 3-day workshop has been designed to give you all of the necessary tools to assess, control and respond to fire hazards at facilities where storage tanks are present. You will return with a practical guide on how to develop and implement cost effective fire hazard management policies that are appropriate for your specific facility. You will learn how to effectively respond to any future incident, but most importantly, build a risk assessment system to avoid them in the first place.

Niall Ramsden is project Coordinator of the LASTFIRE Project, an international industry group reviewing the risks associated with storage tank fires. The Group’s work includes incident data collection, best practice development and research on topics including boilovers and fire fighting foam effectiveness.
